Describe Me....

This was an interesting little experiment that I played with my friends. Basically it goes like this - I sent them an email with the following:

"Describe me in ONE WORD...just one word! Send it to me only, then send this message to your friends and see how many strange things people say about U! This could be fun! Just hit reply and send me my word back. Then forward this message on to your friends (including me) and see what they say about you! INTERESTING!!!!"

I have to say the results ARE interesting (now for those of you that have not responded yet - stop reading and go respond! - I will edit and update this post with your responses when I get them - slackers!)

I don't like moving....

OK, I know what you are going to tell me to stop whining...BUT I really don't like moving and this time is worse because I really don't want to go (seriously, how many would choose tons of snow over warm sunny beaches?). As my friend has said - I just keep repeating the mantra "heated toilet seats - heated toilet seats". I spent the majority of yesterday cleaning out boxes that were still packed from the LAST move! Needless to say, the majority of it was either trashed or freecycled.

This is going to be a fast week. Only working one and half days then off to NC for the holidays. Char is bringing her friend for the trip which should provide quite a bit of entertainment (she is an american idol wannabe). She is such a hoot - we are really going to miss her when we move.

Going home for the holidays should make for an interesting WBW - all those boxes of picures to choose from - I can hardly wait!

The concert ROCKED! but I still need another day to recover..



Here is a quick recap of the weekend's events..... Got up at the butt crack of dawn on Friday morning (4AM) to catch a flight to Minneapolis. 5 hours later (including layovers) land in Minnie. Decided I was tired and blew off shopping (yeah you know I had to be tired to do that) to lay around and rest. 4:30 that afternoon hit happy hour and met new people (a really good crowd). I really turned on the "twang" for them. Several beers later (I dunno, I lost count), walked down to the Target center for the show. Some local band opened up (actually they were not half bad). Then BON JOVI took the stage! Yep, I was a teenager again. I sang, I danced, drank more beer and sang several duets with the bald guy next to me (hmmm, maybe we should open up for them next time around).

After the show, we decided we were too wired to go home so we went to the Long Tree (I think that is what it was called) and danced (and drank more beer)for hours! Got back to the apartment around ummmm 2AM-ish Minnie time which means I had been up for 23 freakin hours!!!

I didn't sleep well even thought I was exhausted (big surprise, I never sleep anymore). Spent Saturday realizing that I was getting old (body aching but suprisingly no hangover). Went to the movies Sat. afternoon and saw Zathura - don't waste your time - Jumanji is far superior.

Sunday - did a little shopping then back home to Charleston. Got in around ummmm 10PM-ish. Still didn't sleep very well last night so I am dragging today. That is the quick version - will post more detail later.

Can I follow directions?



Just an experiment to see if I can follow directions and post a pic! This is my old puppy......Poor thing only has 5 teeth (don't ask - long story). He is 14 years old and I am worried about what the cold in MN is going to do to him. Guess I am going to have to buy him a sweater and booties!

Going Crazy

Only 2 more days til BON JOVI!!! Wooohoooo!!!!!

I know that I have been under a bit of stress lately but yesterday while driving into work I had what could be described as a panic attack - just completely felt like I was spiraling out of control. I have NEVER felt that way in my life - it has to be these stupid meds! Everytime I go back on them I get some new side effect - the meds are worse than the condition. I really have to reconsider taking them.

I have been kickin butt and taking names at work - and I am stoked at the idea of being able to work from home when TH drags me to the cold, snowy land of Minneapolis! At least I don't have to drive in it! Remember I am a southern girl - if it rains we can't drive - and if it snows? Forget about it - it just ain't happening!

33 Days and Counting

Only 33 days left before TH drags me kicking and screaming to Minnesota! Yes, the house is cool, yes it is pretty but come on - it cannot in any way, shape, or form, compare to Charleston!

Been spending time getting things ready to pack and getting my office ready to turn over to someone else who, quite frankly, will never compare to me (ok wishful thinking but still...).

Not much time left and so many things to do and people to see and parties to attend!

I am heading to MN this weekend to hang out with TH and see my man BON JOVI!!!!
