Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves.....

It's meme time. I stole it from someone who stole it from a tramp who stole it from someone else....yes, I know, I have great taste in blogger buds (ya'll buncha thievin' tramps...hehehe - ya'll know I pink puffy heart ya) So here we go....

Outside My Window… dunno the windows are too dirty to see through.

I am thinking…I need to pay someone to come do my windows.

I am going…To consider looking in the phone book but there aren't many that do windows.

I am thankful for… the ability to read so I can look for someone to do my windows.

I finished… letting my fingers do the walking they got tired of looking for someone to come do my windows.

I am wearing… A nightie shirt (but what does that have to do with windows?).

I am creating… apparently nothing since I can't get inspired cause I can't see out my windows.

I am going… to go look on the net to find someone to do my windows.

I am reading… some online ads for window washers.

I am hoping… one of ya'll that are reading this here meme will take pity on me and come do my windows.

I am hearing… the sound of bugs committing suicide against my windows (which is why they need washing).

I have to tackle… apparently I have to tackle washing the windows since none of ya'll are gonna do it for me.

One of my favorite things… Good clean windows!


The BEST things about American Idol last night......That America got it right and David Cook won! He will do very well. And the second thing....The Pips!!! Seriously, that one on the right was sorta cute don't ya think?

I fought....too much - glad that is over now

I am angered....sometimes by nothing at all (but you usually get a warning)

I love....my husband and kids

I need....a second honeymoon

I take.....mental notes - I used to remember them all

I hear....the cats playing

I drink....not enough - WATER

I hate....not knowing what I want to do when I grow up

I use.... any excuse to be silly

I want.....new carpet the house

I like.....being silly

I feel....content

I wear....lounge pants, t-shirt (or sometimes long sleeve t's but not today), my granny sweater (I have two and I heart them), and slippers. (Hey! I am retired!)

I left....the comfort of my warm bed to come downstairs and blog

I do.....so pink puffy heart my blogger buds

I hope....the contentment stays for a long time

I dream....of winning the lottery and traveling the globe

I drive....a 2005 Altima SE with 3.5 liter engine - Charcoal gray with leather interior AND heated seats to keep my tushy warm that has been paid for - for 2 years and I LOVE IT!

I listen....to all kinds of music - depends on my mood

I type..... fast

I think.... too much sometimes

I need... to thaw out

I wish... we would hit the lottery for a few million

I am.... more sensitive to some things than I should be

I regret.... some things but not much

I care.... what people think of me

I should....lose weight

I am.... dreading the thought of getting on the treadmill after this post

I said....I would and I did

I wonder....what people will remember about me

I changed....for the better

I cry...at the drop of a hat.

I lose.... stuff all the time and it drives me batty - I think the kids move it to mess with me

I leave... this post to find my tennis shoes to get on the treadmill......ugh

They put a parking lot on a piece of land

Christmas Tell All

Before I begin remember to comment comment comment if you want to win the goodies (see post from Tuesday).


I stole this from the FABULOUS Pup. Go check hers out and tell her I sent ya.


My name...Cheeky (not what's on the birth certificate but was inspired by my very first internet buddy from - 1994/95 - GEESH that was a long time ago).

I hail from .... currently in Minneapolis but not born here.

1. All I want for Christmas is.... two things - first for our family to be as goofy as we were in NC in early November and second, a new chair for my crafting room.

2 My favorite holiday cocktail.... its not really a "cocktail" but its a wonderful lemon/lime punch. No alcohol just lots of sugar and very addicting (one glass is never enough)

3. My favorite holiday party hors d'oeuvre.... cheeseball (that I make and its not just for the holidays)

4. The average price I spend per gift.... Kids? way too much. Friends and Family - depends on who and what but anywhere from $10 to $75.

5. My favorite gift to give during the holidays .... Something homemade - usually my cards or when time permits a scrapbook.

6. Something overrated about the holidays .... Gimme Gimme Gimme

7. Something I must have before Christmas .... time. I have a few handmade things that are in various stages of completion. I need to get the finished up in plenty of time to ship them.

8. One thing I always do during the holidays ... Get the bulk of my shopping done as early as possible. I don't like stressing out over it.

9. Where I love to shop for the holidays ..... everywhere. I like Black Friday just cause people are so nuts its funny. Go with a good attitude and laugh at others stressing out then you will realize you will be just fine LOL.

10. A holiday tradition I have .... My favorite holiday tradition started with my very first Christmas. Mr. Cheeky was out to sea. It was just me and Weezer and a sad little tree. I had one Christmas CD (Jim Reeves and Elvis and I still have it). At the end of the day after work and school I would turn on the music, turn on the tree, and turn off the rest of the lights and just enjoy it. When Teenage Daughter was born I included her in the ritual until she became a toddler and didn't want to sit still with me. Weezer was always there on my lap. After losing him in Oct of 06 I haven't done this since. I tried but its just not the same without Weezer.

11. One thing you won't find me doing during the holidays... Being a Scrooge. I tend to be generous throughout the year anyway but during this time it goes into overdrive.

12. What do you want for Christmas...Didn't I answer this is question one?

Once upon a time......
